1. Name, age, country and Battle tag.
Hello, my name is John and I am 20 years old. I am from Edinburgh, Scotland. My Btag is: ƒąđęz#2829
2. Link to armory (please log out in gear you will raid in).
https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/c ... F%C3%A5dez
3. Heart of Azeroth level?
4. What are our raiding times, and do they suit you?
They are completely fine with me.
5. What lootsystem do we use? (This is meant to see that you have read our rules)
RCLootcouncil if the item is to be traded.
6. What guilds you were in and reasons for leaving? (short description)
Guild #1: Summit/Devotion
(Same guild, changed names when BFA launched)
This was my own guild that I started in Antorus with a friend. We achieved 11/11M in Antorus and 6/9M in Uldir before we unfortunately disbanded. I can give details if needed.
Guild #2: Crew/Debatable (Same guild, disbanded and reformed under new leadership)
A casual guild with a relaxed atmosphere that was happy to clear content for as long as it took them. Unfortunately after killing Mekkatorque they disbanded due to a lack of motivation from the leadership.
Guild #3: NeXtLeVeL
My most recent guild, joined them after Debatable disbanded. Was put into Jaina progress which was going very well considering the situation they had. Got a message in discord a couple of days later from the GM/Raidleader saying that he could no longer raid at all since he got a promotion at work.
And here I am.
7. Logs of your past raids (it's not only your percentiles we are interested in)
Antorus (Holy Paladin)

Uldir (BM Monk)
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/ ... 22#zone=19
BoD (Ele Shaman)

A couple of my latest kills are private due to new guild, similar to previous logs
8. Screenshot of your UI (in a raiding situation)
Not in a raid but are exactly the same minus a few boss specific weak auras.
Action bars are usually hidden, showing them so you see me keybindings if you are interested. I use an MMO mouse for most of my abilities so that's why they might look a little weird to some people.
9. What are the sites you use to keep up to date on your spec/class?
Most of my research is done on warcraftlogs. I’m always looking at the top performers for my class to see what trinkets or talent combos work in certain situations.
I’m also a member of all the class discords and frequently keep up to date with the latest findings and strats with whatever class I am playing.
At the moment I like to keep an eye on https://stormearthandlava.com/ which is a website dedicated to elemental shamans that goes over many areas of the spec.
I frequently sim my character to fine tune my gear and make any optimisations that will benefit my overall output.
10. Info about alts (if any)
Don't have anything worth mentioning as I was never required to switch off shaman. More than happy to play any ranged dps the guild needs. Have 10 120's atm. Would also consider re-rolling permanently if required.
11. How did you hear about our guild, what made you apply?
Found you on wowprogress.
As I’m sure you can see from my previous guilds they have been very unstable. I am looking for a new home that is stable and secure that I can rely on to provide a suitable raid environment. I have looked through the guilds wowprogress page and saw that you guys have been consistently raiding together for some time.
I am also looking to make a huge leap in guild world rankings. I was not happy with the performance of previous guilds and am looking to take things to the level I know I am capable of.
12. Describe the hardest PVE boss you killed (ever) - how long did your guild work on it, what was hard, what was good about the fight etc..
Personally, I would say its joint between Aggramar and G'huun. I was in the leadership position for aggramar and raidleading as a healer was a true test of my multi-tasking skills. The fight was very intense and required a high level of awareness as well as high healing output. I can't remember how long it took us to kill the boss but somewhere in the region of 250-300 pulls. One of my fondest memories was killing this boss with my guild, felt more rewarding than even Argus. G'huun on the otherhand was not as mentally challenging but instead required an extreme level of consistency. I was a monk in the tank position that had to solo two orbs a pull, having to do this for 300 pulls really made me realise what true consistency was as one small mistake could cause a wipe. Contrary to popular opinion, I thought this boss was pretty good. It was a fun boss to tank with the constant tank swaps, orbs and add management.

13. Anything else that could convince us that you are a good addition to our raids.
I may not have the same level of raiding experience as a majority of your raiders and I may not have the same level of logs as your raiders but that doesn’t mean you should dismiss my application. I have the mindset, performance and dedication to perform well in any roster. I have what it takes to play at the top, the only reason I haven’t attempted it sooner was because I didn’t have the same mindset and goals that I do now. I was happy in my first few tiers playing with friends and seeing where things go but I now want to play seriously and focus on progression. I know my history and logs aren’t anything special but I ask that you don’t take them as a strict reflection of my performance and instead look at the passion I have and realise the potential that I know I possess. If I get the chance, I will let my gameplay do the talking.
Thanks for the opportunity to apply, looking forward to hearing back.
14. Your plans for the next 6 months - will you be AFK on vacation or take a break from raiding?
No plans that will disrupt my availability or dedication.
15. Do you know anyone in the guild?
